Summary of the House Committee Version of the Bill

SB 798 -- SPECIAL LICENSE PLATE

SPONSOR:  Westfall (Ross)

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Motor Vehicle and Traffic Regulations by a vote of 8 to 0.

This bill allows U.S. congressional members to get two sets of
specialized license plates.  Current law provides only one set of
U.S. Congressional plates.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that U.S. Congressional members would
like two sets of license plates.

Testifying for the bill was Senator Westfall.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
